The Yarra River is Victoria's favourite river, and one of the most popular rivers in Australia. What many people don't know is that within 45 mins from Melbourne City there lies a perfect getaway to learn and experience kayaking.
Wonga Park is just far enough from Melbourne CBD to satisfy those seeking a quiet, retreat from the hustle and bustle of the City. It has just right mix of rapids, flora and fauna you'd expect from the Australian great outdoors.
Upon your arrival you will be greeted by our fun guides who will take you though a skills and safety briefing. Then we hit the water for an easy day out.
As we kayak along the river we’ll hit some grade 1-2 rapids and have ample opportunity to test your new found kayaking skills. Your adventure guide will also be giving you some information about the area and how it was formed while you kayak on the calmer parts of the river.
Overall this is an exciting mini tour that will have you coming back for more.
